How can I setup a LimeSurvey questionnaire as an external assignment?

We use LimeSurvey and created questionnaire to have our students evaluate our courses anonymously.

Would it be possible to create an assignment in the course which will open the survey and register if the student started (or even completed) the questionnaire?

LimeSurvey can receive parameters and also return to a page after completion: URL fields - LimeSurvey Manual

Does anyone have experience with this?

We are giving the Canvas Admins area a little bit of love (especially questions that are really, really old) and just want to check in with you.  This will also bring this question new attention.

Well, that is an interesting conclusion to mark it as answered as this topic did not receive any replies. I didn't find any find any solution to my question, so it might be more appropriate to delete this topic than giving it a false status.
