How to add custom link to user tray?
Pretty sure I've seen where other institutions have added a custom link to the user tray. Does anyone have any instructions or guidance on adding a custom link to this area?

Hi @Choachy ,
I'm sure there are some javascript approaches, but I think the easiest (if you have admin access) is to just create a simple LTI xml that would add the link to the user navigation area. You can generate LTI XML at XML Config Builder (edu-apps.org). I did this to add a course navigation item (instead of using the redirect tool, so I could have it open in a new tab), and it will work pretty much the same for user navigation.

Thanks for the quiz reply, Chris. I'll take a look at that and see if I can get it working.

Go to Settings>Apps and look for the redirect tool.

Chrish, while the redirect tool would let me add a custom link to my user navigation, I am trying to do it at the admin/root account level for ALL users.

I do this at the admin level and it populates all users. You can choose where you want it to appear.
