New to Canvas, near the tail end of implementation. Banner school using ILP integration. Need to pull student activity reports for fully online program courses. Due to the way Banner is set up, the courses are created in department sub-accounts which contain ALL courses for the department. Also, many program curriculums include elective courses which are located in different department sub-accounts. Looking for a way to "tag" specific courses upon creation of course sections with identifying metadata (other than title or unique ID which is generated by Banner) such as program, etc. that would allow us create and run an API to retrieve student activity reports based on the "tag" and not location, i.e. sub-account. Wondering if anyone has run into this before and figured out a solution or work around. Thanks in advance.
