Does anyone know a good LTI integration for students to track their time. The scenario is that we are in need of tracking student volunteer hours as part of their service-learning course.  We would want the student to keep track of their volunteer hours and we can run the report for the aggregated total hours. - E Shen

Sadly this has been something talked about even since our State moved to Canvas over 6 years ago and appears Instructure has no plans or interest in fixing attendance or caring how users feel.

Me too - I need to keep closer tabs on interns, and would like a weekly timesheet to do so.  I don't want to finagle an Excel sheet in and out of Canvas.

When I was looking for some External Apps with this purpose I've found Proctorio, i'ts available in Eduappcenter.com.

Once it is made for taking tests, it gives you all information you need about the Canvas using hours by the student/intern.

It didn't suit my needs because it's not Free $ and only works inside quizzes and tests, but I suggest you to give it a try.
