User Creation Report
Is there a report I can run that will show when a user was added and how? Ex. I want to know who was added by SIS and who was added manually. In addition, if manually, which individual with admin privileges. I bet there is - but I have searched until my head hurts! 😞

I'm not sure of the answer to this question, but I'm going to share this with the https://community.canvaslms.com/groups/canvas-developers?sr=search&searchId=540cb597-5c0c-40e3-a0c4-... group in the Community to see if they can help!

@lecia_sims1 , I started to write the response here, then realized it was long enough and hopefully useful enough that it could stand alone as a blog. The short version is that there is no way to find out which admin created a user account or when the account was created without using Canvas Data (or Kona's suggestion to contact Canvas Support). There are some built-in reports to tell you who was created using SIS.
Here's the long version including what doesn't work and some MySQL scripts to run against Canvas Data to get the answers: Finding user account creation details

We are giving the Canvas Admins area a little bit of love (especially questions that are really, really old) and just want to check in with you. This will also bring this question new attention.
Were you able to find an answer to your question? I am going to go ahead and mark this question as answered because there hasn't been any more activity in a while so I assume that you have the information that you need.
