Help link for Catalog users?

Our Catalog instance does not have a help link available for site visitors. I've checked a few other .edu Catalog sites and they don't have one either.

Why doesn't Catalog have a help link on the site home page by default?

How have you implemented a help link for support for Catalog users?

Yes, we have. It is the About Catalog page on our Catalog: University of Maryland College Park Catalog 

We created a page in a Canvas Course and made it public. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
