[ARCHIVED] Google Assignments not transferring from Commons?

Hi!

I am trying to gather resources from Commons. My District has a blended education course already created, but when I try to view the assignments in commons, it gives me a "External Tool not installed error" even though the external tool is Google Assignments and I have that installed (see attached screenshot). View from commonsSo, I imported the course to my Workroom, which fixed the external tool error, but since I am the instructor and not the student, it does not show me the assignment itself to make a copy of. It only shows me the instructor view and says "no student submissions (see below). View from my own workroom

Is there a work around for this? I have been googling this for the last two days. I turned off pop up blockers, I tried to add myself as a student to the course, I have tried to contact the people who uploaded the original documents to commons. If there is a way to get past this, I would appreciate it!
