ODBC issue using Microsoft Access

We have configured an ODBC connection per the information we found elsewhere. Testing it while configuring indicates it was successful. We can use it with no problems to retrieve information into Excel. However, when trying to link to the same tables using Microsoft Access, we get the message: Reserved error (-7733). Has anybody successfully configured ODBC for using Microsoft Access 2013 64 bit?
