[Accessibility] Gradebook row shading

Problem statement:

I am not aware of a way to turn off the row shading in the Gradebook. This is problematic because any particular "status" appears as two different colors: one version if the row is white and one version if the row is shaded gray. In essence, if I have five status colors, I actually see 10 different colors in the grade book, in addition to white and gray. From an accessibility perspective, color alone should not be used to convey information. It is even worse in this case because, due to the shading, two different colors convey the same information (e.g., light blue and dark blue can both mean "Late").

Proposed solution:

Provide the option to turn off row shading in the Gradebook. Further, provide an option to see a letter or symbol that indicates the status (e.g., a "?" or "M" for Missing, a clock icon or "L" for late, etc.), in addition to the color. This would satisfy accessibility requirements.
