Copying the 'Copy Resource Link' in Commons is not linking users who are signed into their Canvas instance direct to the resource. This seems to have changed since the regionalisation of Commons. A support ticket was raised however this has been deemed to not be fixed in the near future. Not having an effective link to a Commons resource hinders the shareability of the Commons item.
Ensure the 'Copy Resource Link' provides a link that will take a user directly to the Commons item if they are logged into Canvas. Why? To enable sharing of Commons resources with instructors for their use and awareness.
