[Credentials/Badges] Digital badge display size should be larger

Problem statement:

In Badgr/Badgr Pro/Canvas Credentials, it appears that the size of a badge has been hard-coded to render as 136X136 pixels, irrespective of the screen size on the public description page (where people reach when they click on a badge URL) . We upload an image that is 400 X 400 pixels. Why does the badge have to be displayed on the description page as a tiny image? Other platforms (e.g., Credly) use a responsive design, rendering the size as a minimum (e.g., 210 X 210) and a maximum (e.g., 340) width. This allows for significant more detail to be shown. Given that the size uploaded is 400X 400, is it not possible to change this aspect of the style sheet in the pages? Many institutions are using badges for credentials, and it is very challenging to add all the elements that would be needed to differentiate institutional brand, credential level and subject matter. with the limited pixel view.

Proposed solution:

Suggest that the style sheet be changed in the code to a larger maximum size, and to be responsive. Alternatively, allow Canvas Credential users to specify the badge size to be displayed as part of the branding package. The style sheet approach will support both the free and pro users. Why: this seems like the most straightforward way to fix the size.

Agree. 136 x 136 is EXTREMELY TINY! It loses a lot of the detail and limits the usefulness of the badge display image.
