When I am searching for a course (for ex., to copy a page/module to another course) or for a rubric ( the find a rubric feature), I get a list of all courses that I have taught and have to scroll and/or guess which course which same or similar name I am looking for. I would be so helpful to have a filter feature that an instructor would set, or that would automatically list current courses first in the list. As a middle school teacher, I teach the same courses multiple times a year, and over multipole years, it is really a guessing game to find the course version that I am looking for.
Any time I am searching for a course (to copy something to, or find something in another course), I want the option to only list current courses, and/or sort the courses chronologically. That way I can more easily find the information I need or ensure that I am copying information to the correct course. WHY? see above - schools use the name course name over multiple quarters, semesters, years, so there can be many, many instances of the same course name, and they are not sorted chronologically. I am happy to demonstrate where and why this is a problem.
