Doing a course copy from a course with Blueprint content will by default include Blueprint content. This can lead to similar content being pushed to the new course when the upcoming semester's blueprint content is pushed to the new course. This could be pages, applications, discussions, or any other type of content. We know most faculty are not power users, and they just by default "select all content" when doing the course copy
Include an "Ignore Blueprint Content" checkbox, with it selected by default, in the course copy settings. The blueprint content is obviously not owned or managed by the person (typically teacher) doing the course copy. Typically, they cannot even edit the blueprint content in the original course they are copying from. A teacher might not even be sure which content is blueprint content. There should be a way to ignore that specific type of content when doing a course import while importing everything else.
