Proposal for Improved Access to Quiz Statistics in New Quizzes The process of accessing quiz statistics is significantly more cumbersome and less intuitive in New Quizzes compared to Classic Quizzes. This creates challenges for teachers who wish to review answers together with their students after quiz completion. In Classic Quizzes, results (including answers and statistics) can be displayed directly through Quiz Statistics in the upper right-hand corner. This feature provides an easy and intuitive way to present and discuss outcomes with students. In contrast, New Quizzes requires a far less intuitive workflow. Accessing results involves navigating through Build > Reports > Generate Report under Item and Quiz Analysis. Requiring teachers to click on "Build"—a term that logically suggests quiz construction rather than analysis—makes it unnecessarily difficult to locate the statistics and analytics functions. Furthermore, the presentation of results is more pedagogically effective in Classic Quizzes, as it facilitates walking students through the different answer options and discussing each potential response.
To better support the didactical follow-up of quizzes, I propose the development of a statistics view in New Quizzes that more closely mirrors the functionality and accessibility of the Classic Quizzes interface.
