In my Canvas courses, I have several assignments for which I include some common instructions. When the instructions need to be modified (i.e. there's a typo or some additional clarification would be beneficial), I have to manually edit every assignment. This is tedious and time consuming. One solution that has been suggested is to create a page in Canvas and then include a link to that page. However, only the link is displayed in the assignments. The student has to click the link, which then navigates them away from the assignment. Third party applications (DesignPLUS) have a way to import the page content inline, but that functionality is not available in New Quizzes. Additionally, the use of third party applications depends on the institution's continuing access to the third party application.
After a pages link is included in the rich text editor, and when the "Link Options" are selected, provide an option to display the page content inline.
