Quiz Applications

What quiz tool do you recommend. We would like a solution that integrates with Canvas and allows bulk upload by scan of individual student response, mark integration and analytics.

 @gary_molloy , there are a number of discussions about this issue, and unless I've missed something, there isn't a solution that you're probably wishing there was. Many of us in the K-12 space used ExamView as a quiz question composition tool, but as a full-featured application for the purpose of creating and editing questions, it leaves much to be desired.

Same with Respondus 4. Read this blog for the details: Batch Uploading Quiz Questions and Question Banks, Part 2.

While you're considering all of this, please hop over to https://community.canvaslms.com/ideas/8263-strengthen-canvas-import-ability-with-qti-files and vote up for this interoperability idea. Thanks.

Hope all of this was somewhat helpful. You might also want to check out #quizzes.next_new‌ for a preview of what Instructure is doing with this function/feature set.

 @gary_molloy ,

We are giving the Instructional Designers area a little bit of love and just want to check in with you.  This will also bring this question new attention.

Were you able to find an answer to your question? I am going to go ahead and mark this question as answered because there hasn't been any more activity in a while so I assume that you have the information that you need. If you still have a question about this or if you have information that you would like to share with the community, by all means, please do come back and leave a comment.  Also, if this question has been answered by one of the previous replies, please feel free to mark that answer as correct.

Robbie

I would welcome further progress on this issue.

I have a significant issue with Canvas closing open requests assuming that they have been addressed when clearly they have not been.
