3 pt quiz given on paper put in quizzes

I teach at Mount Carmel College of Nursing. How do  I  put in a 3 point paper quiz under quizzes? I am not talking about the new quizzes under assignments but a paper quiz under the quiz section. I can not get the pts to show up hohandley@mccn.edu

In Canvas, you can only add points to a quiz through student submission of an online quiz. What you need to do is create a no-submission assignment, name it for the quiz, and add student scores to that. If you use assignment groups to organize your quizzes (and  other graded activities), then also add that assignment to your quiz group.
