Accessing to Canvas instance from Canvas App

Hi all! 

I have installed Canvas LMS on a cloudserver. I would like to access it from the Canvas App on my mobile phone, but the app won't find "my school". 

For some reason, there in no "QR for Mobile login" on my installation.

Did I miss something during Canvas installation?

Does this link have something to do with this issue?

I think that's not a solution for me, but I feel that I'm getting closer. At least, I know now a little better what to ask about... So I reformulate my answer:

I have a self-hosted instance of Canvas LMS. Do I have to license it in order to make it "appear" in the Canvas mobile app? So it would be able to find it when looking for schools.
