Accidentally removed a student from the course

If a student is accidentally removed from a course, can they be retrieved including any assignments they have uploaded?

G‌ood news! If you (or a Canvas admin, if you don't have access yourself) restore the student's enrollment, their submissions, grades, discussion posts, etc., will be restored.

Try this (and contact your Canvas admins if you don;t have the permission to do so yourself): How do I add users to a course?

I have this question as well. I accidentally transferred a student out of  a class, and when I go to add her back in it won't let me because it says her Student ID is already in use.  I can't figure out how to add her back to the course.

How are you trying to add the student back in to your course?  E-mail?  Login ID?  SIS ID?  If one of those options isn't working, have you tried using the other options to add your student?
