Adding a TA to My Course
I have added others as TAs to my course, but one specific person has been unable to be added. I entered their school email in and Canvas give me the error message "We were unable to find matches below." Is there anything else I need to do?

The person in question, just like the other people that I was able to successfuly add to my course, definitely has a Canvas Account in my school, Virginia Tech - which is what you mean by "Canvas instance", correct?

Assuming you're getting the error message I think you are (I'll include a screenshot below), I am still thinking Canvas is not able to locate a Canvas account for this person by that email address. I would double-check that the email address you are using is the one associated with their Canvas account and that it is being entered correctly. Here is the error message I receive when I invite someone to a course that does not yet have a Canvas account where that course is located. Does this look like the same error message you are seeing?

Yes, this is the same message I got, except for the last two sentences. I have tried their correct email address multiple times and it has not yet worked.

It is possible they have an email address that is used for sending and receiving email and a different one that is associated with their Canvas account. If this TA can check their Canvas profile and verify it is the same email address you are using to add them to the course, then we can rule that out.
