Answer box size in Fill in Multiple Blanks

I am creating questions with Fill in Multiple Blanks in a quiz.  I was wondering if there is a way to make the answer box smaller when the students take the test?  

Here is the question I created.  The size looks great when I create the question.

Here is what it looks like in Student View.  The answer boxes are so big that it doesn't fit inside the question box.  So the last two answer boxes aren't available to type in an answer. I know you can click tab to move to the next answer or you change the magnification but I was hoping to be able to change the answer box size...maybe in HTML Editor or somewhere else...

Any help would be much appreciated!

 @casottj , I don’t believe this is something that can be changed, but I’m going to share this with the Canvas Developers‌ group in the Community to see if they can somehow help.

I have a similar problem: I need an answer box on multiple-fill-in-the-blanks that is bigger. I need to assign my students to translate a sentence. The answer box limits what they can see as they answer to only a few words, which limits their ability to proofread their answers. ANy way to make a bigger answer box? It would help greatly if it were adjustable.

Has anyone found a fix for this? I'm not seeing a resolution and have run into the same issue. I have a table with multiple fill-in-the-blanks. The last few columns are extending beyond the margins. Same as the original poster, everything looks good in editing (1) but in Student View (2 & 3), the last few columns are inaccessible (especially on a laptop, screenshots are from a widescreen desktop monitor). Any advice appreciated!

I have the same issue as Amber.  I have changed the Table Data cell width but this has no effect on the width of the text box.

I have the same issue, last two boxes become inaccessible if they stretch beyond the margins.Only possible solutions I found were: (1) clicking tab to move to the next box, and (2) shrinking the screen size of browser (somehow it does start clicking if you have a partial screen)
