Appointments

I have a free teacher account and I'm trying to make an appointment group on calendar. However, I do not have the "Scheduler" and "Appointment Group" buttons. Why is that? Is it because its the free teacher account?

Side Note: I'm currently not teaching and not assigned to a district. I'm using canvas it to build my portfolio.

Thank you for contacting the Instructure Community. It is because of the Free for Teacher account - yes. You can use it to build a portfolio but it doesn't have 100% of the capabilities that your regular Canvas account with your school will have. You need to be a real teacher with students to schedule those types of appointment groups. Are you trying to get other people to view your FFT course or set up meetings with people outside of your regular school account? You may want to consider adding "students" to your FFT course and/or using other applications like Zoom to schedule meetings with users. If these users attend your actual school, you should be able to incorporate the scheduler there as well. Hopefully this helps.
