As An Observer, How Do You See If An Assigment Has Been Submitted?

As an observer, how do I see if an assignment has been submitted?  Can I see the assignment itself?  Is it consistent?  I think I've seen some listed as submitted if I drill way down into the course, assignments, etc, but is there a quicker/easier way to just see a list of 'submitted' assignments?

Hi @jclinton - You've found the fastest way through the browser! On the assignments page, there is a lot of information available. If you'd like a faster, more streamlined way to check on the status of recent activities, I definitely recommend Canvas Parent. The weekly schedule is amazing for that, and submission status is even color-coded.

Is it possible to see assignment submittal status on the website? I can tell it's obviously been submitted if it's been graded, and I think I can get a notification that it's late. What I need is a way to see that an assignment hasn't been submitted, and coupled with the due date, have a chat with my kid. The only way I've found to get this info is to log into his canvas account and see if there is still a "submit" option. thanks
