Hi @bsheppard and welcome to the Canvas Community! If I understand correctly, you can select the "submit assignment" button and attach a file, for example, but cannot finish the submission? Is this correct? Have you tried with a separate web browser (such as Chrome and Firefox)? If not you might check that both your computer and web browser are supported (see What are the basic computer specifications for Canvas? and Which browsers does Canvas support?). If this doesn't fix the problem you might contact Canvas Support (see How do I get help with Canvas as a student?) and let them know what you have encountered. They may have more specific suggestions or could create a help ticket if there appears to be a larger problem.
