Can I create a drop down list of generalised comments to use in assignments?

Jump to solution

When marking assignments can a pre-generated list of feedback comments be created such as; excellent point made, good understanding demonstrated, Add greater depth etc. Then from the list the assessor selects the bases of the comment and then adds more detail if they require?

Currently there is no way to do this in Canvas, but this is an often requested feature.

I would love to be able to create comment libraries like I could in turnitin.com.  I could pull up the bank and then drag and drop comments within the submitted assignment.

While waiting for this functionality you might consider looking into rubrics: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-12861-4152724129

This might give you some of what you're looking for.
