I would like my assignments to have 3 scores each:
- A group score for the assignment (40 points)
- A participlation score for each individual in the group (5 points)
- A writing score for the assignment (10 points)
Is it possible to create one assignment that leads to three different gradebook scores?
Alternatively, I could create three assignments, but I would like to link them all so that the scores can easily be entered in one place in the SpeedGrader.
Hello @sancho ...
Assignments can only have one "total" score...not multiple. The only way I can think that this *might* be possible (and that's a big *might*) would be is if you made a rubric that had three rows...one row for each of the items you've listed in your question...one row worth 40 points, another row worth 5 points, and a third row worth 10 points. But even then, I'm not sure if that total score of 55 points per rubric would even work for your needs. It seems to me that your alternate suggestion of making three separate assignments would be the way to go.
I hope this will be of some help to you. Let Community members know if you have any other questions about this...thanks! Take care, stay safe, and be well.
