Can I set up a quiz answer with setting such as "the correct answer contains the words..."?

I have noticed that Canvas's autograding feature is a little more limited than Blackboard in that it cannot handle some of the more complicated quiz questions. It requires more manual grading. For example, my quiz question is a fill in the blank.

"____ people globally speak this language globally."

The correction answer is 400 million. Students are going to write 400 million, 400 mil, 400, 400 m., 400m., etc. Manually typing in all of the possibilities would be a lot of tedious work. I would like to be able to say "The correct answer contains: "400".

Do you have any solutions to this or know of any features within Canvas that would help?

Do you know if your school has enabled New Quizzes within your Canvas environment yet?  If so, I wonder if this question type might maybe meet your needs?
