Can't see post to which a student is replying in SpeedGrader

When grading discussion boards in SpeedGrader, I have a rubric that assesses both an original post and a response post. While I can see the student's original post and response post on the left-hand side of the screen, it doesn't show me the post to which the student is responding. That makes it hard to evaluate their response post. Is there a way to have that post to which they are responding appear without going back to the full discussion board and searching for it?

Hello @GreggHeidebrink - I too experienced what you are describing when we started with Canvas. To resolve this, I bought a second monitor and had SpeedGrader open on one and the full discussion board open on the other.  Since that time Canvas released a new feature that enables the instructor to switch between viewing just the posts of the single student or to change to view the entire discussion thread.
