We have an issue where a staff member has left the business and we have concluded her in all courses in Canvas.
We have also gone in and turned off all notifications as shown by the attached image, however, as seen in her email she is still getting notifications.
Any idea how we can stop this? They seem to be non-stop notifications and we cannot figure out what/why this is happening.

@jacobtowne7 , what email address is the person getting the notifications at? Wouldn’t their school email address no longer work? What we’ve done for slightly similar situations is to go in and change their default email address. That way Canvas can’t notify the person any longer.
We would also like to know this! Our students have 'email for life' but we would like to stop all notifications going to them once they leave. They can no longer log in to Canvas but their accounts are still in there as we need to keep all their assignments. We would love to stop them getting any further notifications from Canvas though. There does not seem to be a way to make their accounts inactive at account level.
Hi @kona unfortunately we are corporate company and not a school, all our users are synced with our internal system and payroll and use their personal email address so we cant just "turn off" so to speak. May have to manually change the email address to a fake/unused one.
