Canvas LMS keeping track of Changes

Hi there,

I got an assignment where i have to integrate Canvas LMS with a few other external applications , i managed to update canvas LMS based on changes in other systems (for example a user got updated in system A => update Canvas LMS) with the help of the Canvas API. I still have to do the opposite so when a change happens (like a course that got created or a user that got modified) I have to send that information to the other external apps so that they can update themselves. But I am still struggling to find a way to implement this since there is not much information out there online. Does anyone have some ideas btw I'm using the open source version of Canvas
