Connect 2 or more sections

How can I connect the 2 sections of a course that I am teaching so that when I create an assignment in one section it shows in both sections? Thank you!

Hi  @tajordan ‌,

In Canvas this is known as "Cross-listing" and it's pretty simple.  It can be done by an admin in batch, by an admin course-by-course, or by a teacher within a course..

Thanks for the info.  If I add a section to another of my sections, will the students in one section merge to the students in the other section?  I need to keep them separate.  What I want to do is enter quizzes only in one section and be able to have them display in both sections.  ( I do not want to have to create the same quizzes twice).

Sections will remain distinct within your course - allowing you to create a quiz once and give it to two different sets of students
