Is there a way to create a poll in CANVAS?

According to https://community.canvaslms.com/thread/8775  there are a couple ways you could set up a poll for your students.  One way is using Conferences.  Please check out these three Canvas Guides:

 

How do I start a poll in a conference as a presenter?

How do I automatically create a poll using a presentation in a conference as a presenter?

How do I take a poll in a conference as a participant?

 

Or, what you could do is create an ungraded survey (via a quiz) and create as many questions as you want.

 

How do I create a survey in my course?

How do I view survey results in a course?

 

Also, can Google Forms be used on Canvas?

I also like to use the "allow liking" option in Discussion Boards, I put an end date on the board so students cant post but they can still like a post that is already there.  Below is an example of what it looks like:
