Creating Two Courses for the Same Class Type, but Different Class Periods

Is there a way to make 2 courses show up in different course blocks?

For example, we use Skyward and Skyward creates our courses in Canvas. BUT, if a teacher teaches World History in period one AND period three, those two classes show up in the same course block in Canvas (but are in different sections). 

This causes a lot of confusion for teachers and students. Is there any setting or way to change this? We would like to have one course block per class, no matter what the class is.

These cross-listed sections can be helpful when two classes have identical content.  However, I usually only cross-list sections that meet at the same time from different locations via a video link.  Since the skyward program is creating your courses, I would be careful to test whethr de-crosslisting impacts your use of skyward.  I am not familiar with the skyward program.  Instructions for de-crosslisting are here: https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-de-cross-list-a-section-in-a-course-as-...
