@kgrove , students love it when faculty add this type of video to their courses! Do you happen to know if your College has some type of screen recording software (Screencast-O-Matic, Camtasia, Arc, etc) already licensed for faculty use? If so, then that would be the way to go and if you're not sure, you could always contact Tech Support at your College.
Otherwise, there are a number of free programs you can use that work great! Here's a list I found online for 2018 - The best free screen recorder 2018 | TechRadar, but I'll say that some of my favorite easy to use free programs are - Screencastify & Screencast-O-Matic.
