Current Class not on Dashboard

Currently I am taking patho and I cannot add that class to my dashboard. If I click on "All Course",under past courses, but I am actively still in the course. I am not sure what to do to bring it on my dashboard. If I click on the star it says I cannot add it at this time, but again, I am not sure what to do! Thanks in advance!

Hi  @saguilarsanchez  Welcome to the Canvas Community. Perhaps this issue has solved itself by now, but your ability to add a course to the Dashboard is dictated by whether the course is "active," which can be determined by several things, including the term dates set by your school, whether the instructor has published it, and the possibility that the instructor has changed the "start date" of the course.  You may want to contact your instructor and/or your support center, but for future reference take a look at this page if you haven't already: https://community.canvaslms.com/docs/DOC-10570-4212710327
