Default Thread State

We set up our master courses with the discussions set for the Default Thread State, as seen in the image. However, when we made a copy of this course for the offering that students will be enrolled in, the feature did not copy over.

Is there a way to keep this feature when copying courses? We can't fix this in every course we copy from the masters. We have 40 plus courses we copy every other week.

I have tryed as well and experienced the same thing when copying only a single discussion with the "Copy To...".

I do not have any answer for you but I have included @TamasBalogh, the Product Manager for Discussions.

Thank you for noting that. We already have a bug ticket about this and going to fix the issue. If you haven't yet, please raise it with support.

Thanks! I had not put in a ticket yet, but I wanted to see if it was a known issue (I did not see anything) and then asked here to see if it was just something we did or if it was not a feature that wasn't supposed to work that way, and I had overlooked that information. I will get a ticket submitted.
