Disabling student to student inbox

Hi there,

I feel like it might not be possible but is there a way to prevent students from inboxing each other but still have the feature active for them to inbox teachers?

Hi there, @ldhemba ...

I'm not entirely sure if this is possible or not, but I have seen past questions here in the Community where people have asked about disabling the Inbox.  My recommendation to you would be to contact your school's assigned Customer Success Manager at Instructure to inquire more about this.  If you are not a local Canvas administrator at your school, you could contact that person...who then could pose the question to the CSM.  Just keep in mind that if you are an instructor wanting the Inbox hidden, it *may* apply to all students at your school...so while you may want it for students in your course(s), other instructors at your school may find the Canvas Inbox useful for students.  These are all questions to ask your assigned CSM.
