Discrepancy between csv and gradebook.

Exporting CSV files from the gradebook, the current scores for the assignment groups are very different from what's in the gradebook for certain students.  It appears to be only for students with a significant numbers of zeroes for assignments or quizzes.  I think the current scores are being calculated without including those assignments/quizzes with zeroes as part of the points possible.  This is a new discrepancy I'm seeing for the first time.  Was there a change to the system?  Is this a bug?  Am I doing something wrong?

I haven't tried it again, I only use the csv export when grades are due--every 6 weeks. I print grades to make them easier to enter in Aeries.  And yes, I know Canvas is supposed to integrate with Aeries, but let's just say our school disabled that feature due to an incident involving user error.
