Discussion Private Comment Option For Teachers?

Hello! I was wondering if there is a setting I can make so that I can reply to my students discussion without other students seeing it? I am wanting to explain my grading marks in a private way. Is this possible?

Welcome to the Canvas Community! Since you say that you want to give explanation for how you graded the discussion, then using SpeedGrader will be the way to go and you can leave Assignment Comments that just the student will see.

What is SpeedGrader?
