Does changing a grade on a transfered quiz retro grade to a previous course?

I have two courses one being NGR6055.050S17 and the other being NGR6055.050S16. There I have a quiz named Quiz 1 which I transferred to my current spring course (S17). I regraded something in the newly transferred quiz and don't know if that would effect the previous grades in another course. Any insight helps thanks!

No, the update and regrade will only affect the course where the change happened.  It will not affect the course that the quiz was copied from.

Once a course or a part of a course is copied over, there is no connection to the old course.  So if Teacher A gives Teacher B a copy of their quiz, Teacher B can make changes without affecting Teacher A's courses.  Downside being that when there's an error, it does need to be fixed in all courses individually.
