Downloading Assignment Submissions

Hi everyone!  I'm familiar with downloading submissions for an assignment in Canvas.  I teach video production and we use Canvas Studio every day!  We transfer files between the iPad and the desktop.  We also use Studio to submit our final video for assignments.  Unfortunately, it doesn't appear that I can download submissions that are made through Canvas Studio.  When I "Download Submissions" either fromt eh assignment or from Speed Grader, I only get the assignments that were actually uploaded, not the ones from Studio. I like to have a "Movie Day" at the end of the quarter, but I currently can not download movies that have been submitted through Studio.  Am I missing something?

Hi @tscottreece,

I do not believe there is going to be away around this using the download submissions option because the Canvas Studio videos are (without getting into too much detail) embedded into the assignment and not actually uploaded (it would probably be the same experience for other video hosting platforms like Kaltura or Panopto). You/Teachers would have a similar experience if students either linked to or embedded a YouTube video as the submission.

Maybe someone else has another option or workaround but I do not.
