Duplicate calendar events

Why do I have duplicate events in my calendar when I create a calendar feed? I am trying to create a clean events calendar for students, who are also staff, in our university. They select from a number of courses to build their PG cert. I wanted to create a master calendar, but that is proving very difficult. So I simply copied the calendar feed and opened it up in outlook but I have lots of duplicate events showing...

Hi @MandyJJ 

I suspect that you have those events created for more than one course.   The feed is per user, not course. So it will show all events in all of your courses. 

"The calendar feed will contain events and assignments from all of your Canvas calendars, including reserved Scheduler appointment slots."
