I've done this before on my class pages, but I noticed that two of the embedded videos in one of my pages appear to be "un-playable," so I went in to re-embed them.
I can't do it this time. The little embed media option is only giving me three choices, none of which is to embed a video that is linked to an outside site (3C media in this case, which captions my videos for me). The captioned video is not on my computer or on canvas, to be clear. I've always embedded them in pages via the embed link provided on the 3C site.
I've included a screen shot to show what I mean. I know I have linked these videos in pages in the past, and in fact other 3C media videos are linked to this page and other pages. I can't seem to find any option to do more than just post the direct link to the videos in question, though.
Good morning, @erica_wagner ...
Whenever I harvest embed code for things like videos from sites like YouTube, Vimeo, etc., I typically use the "Insert" menu of the Rich Content Editor (RCE). Then, I choose the "Embed" option. Alternatively, it looks like you're not seeing all the tools of your RCE because of your screen resolution. So, on the far right of your RCE is an icon of three dots (sometimes referred to as a "kebab"). Click on that, and you'll find the rest of the available tools for the RCE ... including one that looks like a cloud with "< >" under it. That's the "Embed" option from the "Insert" menu. You should be able to paste in your harvest embed code into the "Embed Code" text box.
Hope this helps a bit, Erica. Reach out to Community members if you have any other questions about this...thanks!
