Embedding or linking an interactive Google Slide (assignment)

Is there a way to embed or link a Google Slide into Canvas where the slide maintains its interactive properties?  I have created Google Slides from previous paper documents that I have used in the classroom.  However, when I do embed or link a Google Slide into Canvas, it loses its interactiveness.

Yes! I have found that when the interactive google slide is published and embedded - it loses it's interactiveness via the student Canvas App. Is there a way around this?
