Error on grading an assignment

We have a teacher who needs to grade one last assignment, one that was submitted on time. However, whether in Speedgrader or in the Gradebook, entering the grade returns an error message. It says, "There was a problem updating the submission."

There us a single submission, and it's on time. I'd appreciate any feedback!
