File Space

Jump to solution

Is there any way to identify files that are no longer being used in a course, so they can be removed to create more file space?

Hello glendon.gardner Welcome to the Canvas Community.  Thanks for posting your question.  There isn't anything that currently exists in the Canvas interface that would allow you to do this.  However, there's been a recent blog post by  @christopher_phi  over in the Instructional Designers group called Tool to Identify and Delete Unused Files that you might want to look through.  If you are not following the https://community.canvaslms.com/groups/designers group, you can click on the link that I've given you, and then click on the "Follow" button at the top right corner of the group page.  Also, near that button is another link called "Actions".  Click there, and then choose "Join group".  I hope this is of some help to you, Glendon.
