Grade importing to sis

Jump to solution

I created a canvas course for all the foreign language students I have during the day so I could grade everything in one place.  I originally put everything for the whole year in the module, then decided to separate it by semester, so I copied the whole year twice to other modules in the same class and just deleted what I  did not want.  THen I exported the two modules that I did not need for this semester and then deleted those modules.  When I am doing grades in sis, it appears that those copies are in there, so I have 3 copies of every assignment.  This prevents me from just selecting all importing to update grades...any suggestions as to how to get rid of those copies when importing to sis?

I actually feel a little stupid. I did figure it out. Even though I

deleted the items from the module, they still had to be deleted from the

assignments as well. That fixed my problem. I figured it out.

Thanks!....I however do not know what happened to the upload button in

canvas that would upload the grades directly to sis from canvas. It seems

to have disappeared.

 @mccoskey ,

First, I want to apologize for your question sitting in the community for so long without a response.

Second, it looks like you have stumped the Canvas Community.  Were you able to find an answer to your question? I am going to go ahead and mark this question as answered because there hasn't been any more activity in a while so I assume that you have the information that you need. If you still have a question about this or if you have information that you would like to share with the community, by all means, please do come back and leave a comment.
