Did the latest version of canvas remove the ability to sort my grade book? I can no longer sort by module which has been a crucial timesaver in my workflow for years? Was this put somewhere else or is that feature just gone now?

Hi @JonathanRiddle,
The sort options are still available, they have just moved under the settings gear now. The How do I arrange columns in the Gradebook? - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com) guide will show you how to get there.
Hope this helps!

Hi @JonathanRiddle ,
I think all the sorting options have been replaced by Apply Filters.
They haven't been replaced, the filters have always been there, but now there is no longer a sort feature. The filters are not useful in this context, I need the ability to sort the order of assignments.

@JonathanRiddle ...
I'm not sure if you follow the monthly Canvas Release Notes, but the Release Notes from August 19 detail that the Enhnaced Gradebook Filter Feature was enforced during this release. Please check out: Canvas Release Notes (2023-08-19) - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com).
You can view other Releases as well as Deploy Notes at this link: Canvas Releases - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com).
Hope this helps a bit!
