Good day, I am a student using Safari browser in my iPhone 6+ with iOs 12.
My teacher accused me of cheating and sent me screenshots of my quiz log showing I left the tab a lot of times, but most of it are for only 1 to 2 seconds.
I know I did not leave the canvas quiz page during the quiz so my question is, how valid are these canvas quiz logs in an old iOs version and outdated Safari browser.
Can this be a bug or something? Thanks in advance for the help.

I recommend you have a face-to-face conversation with your instructor about the situation. (or web conference).
As a teacher, first I must state that if your instructor specified that you should be using an up-to-date browser, or be using a desktop or laptop device, or any other technical requirements that you didn't follow,. Then your using a phone and out of date browser doesn't give you much of an excuse. (I tell my students to never take a quiz on a mobile device.).

The log does show you clicking away a lot, but I don't have any experience as to why your log is stating you clicked away if you didn't. Perhaps you could do a test quiz in front of your instructor to verify it is an error.
