Hidden grades visible.

How can I mask grades for a course that is hidden but visible in the dropdown section of Gradebook?

Senario

In course x the gradebook is hidden to students but in course y the gradebook is visible. In course y a student can select course x from the dropdown menu and see the gradebook that is hidded in the course x.

Hiding the grades tab doesn't completely hide grades, just makes it more difficult for students to navigate there.  If you want to hide grades you need to use How do I use posting policies in a course?‌
